Radiotherapy Clinics of Georgia
A Center Specializing in the Treatment of Prostate Cancer

In 2003, Mr. Hal Balch and his staff at Creative Specialists, Inc. (CSI), undertook a period of due diligence with respect to the search marketing programs that were in place for Radiotherapy Clinics of Georgia. At the time, these consisted of a few online banners, limited keywords, and some sponsorship of self-help sites. Members of our staff had placed most of the advertising.

As a result of this research, CSI developed a new online program for RCOG. This involved close collaboration between Hal Balch and myself, as I recognized the strategic significance of our online presence.

At that time, we decided to develop a completely new Web site and to focus attention on an in-depth question and answer section for men who were newly diagnosed with prostate cancer. CSI's team of designers, consultants, and programmers developed the project in its entirety.

Unlike previous versions, the new site guided the viewer toward the Q&A that I had prepared. This information was considered to be of great importance to men and their families. It supplied facts about the disease and encouraged patients to do their own research into treatment methods and outcomes. CSI designed the graphics and interface of the site on a level with other national healthcare organizations.

CSI launched the new RCOG Web site and search marketing program in 2004. Since then, traffic to the site has greatly increased and the Internet has grown in importance as both an added value to men who are referred to RCOG and as a source of new patient volume. The Question and Answer section has become the most viewed and downloaded portion of the RCOG site.

As a leader in prostate cancer treatment, we believe it is important to be accessible to men who are seeking information about this disease. Under CSI's continuous direction, search results containing our messages are displayed throughout the United States and in various other countries. Our content is available in Spanish as well.

I believe our business growth is attributable to various important factors, one of them being the accessibility of our program on the Internet. The treatment of men with prostate cancer is a highly competitive segment of healthcare. It is vital for men to receive accurate information on cure rates and the value of personal decision making. CSI's operation of our national and international search programs has enabled this and resulted in more men receiving treatment at RCOG year after year.
